Dog Crate:
Benefits of Crate Training: Many people believe crating you dog is mean and many other people think its not. Crating your dog is not cruel unless you leave them in there too long, use it for discipline, too small, or scolding your dog for going to the bathroom in it. You should NOT use a crate to discipline your dog. The crate is used so the dog can sleep, relax and travel in security. Leaving a dog unconfined is at risk-electrical wires, poisonous house plants, furniture and stair cases. Crate Location: Crate should be placed in or near the bedroom or somewheres where they are comfortable. Just make sure the crate is not placed by a window because the sun can be harmful.

Children & Dogs: Important Points to Learn
To keep your child safe around dogs, teach them the following points
* Strange dogs should be approached with the same caution as strange humans
* Never run up to or chase an unfamiliar dog. The dog may feel threatened and bite.
* Never bother a dog when they are eating, Never attempt to take food from them.
* Do not take a dog's toy away while they are playing with it.
* When meeting a new dog, ask owner if you may pet the dog. If given permission to pet them, hold hand out a closed fist for the dog to sniff, which is less threatening than an open hand. A dog startled by an open hand thrust at their face might sbap at the fingers.

***Diatomaceous Earth is a mineral dust mined from quarries
that many people say kills the insects when they come in contact with it. Diatomaceous Earth Kills Pests Naturally - No Synthetic Chemicals, No Odor or additives of any kind. DE doesn't evaporate or break down over time, because it's a mineral once you put it down it stays there and keeps working. It works by scratching off the outer layer of waxy coating insects have and then dessication the bug because it's so dry. You may want to clean it up once and while and add more to get rid of the dead bugs and parts they leave behind but DE is DE and lasts forever***
